FIDM College

In my role as Creative Director at FIDM, I led a team of designers, writers, and web developers in the creation of a variety of projects to promote the mission of the college. The projects ranged in everything from video to photoshoots; ad campaigns to web pages; catalog design to email journeys; event graphics to conference materials and more.

Your Story Begins At FIDM Video

I acted as creative consultant alongside the FIDM art director, the content director, and videographer to shape the creative direction of this video. Our goal was to capture the spirit of FIDM through the students’ own words and work. The result is an inspirational piece that captures the FIDM experience. This video was so well-received by FIDM management that it became the inspiration for a new creative direction for the college.


FIDM Campus Tour Video

FIDM needed a fresh campus tour video that could capture the creative spirit of the college. As creative director for the video, I worked closely with the videographer, content director, and the student talent to create a video that not only showcases the creative environment of the college but also effectively conveys the passion of the students and instructors.

Digital Ad Campaign

I collaborated with FIDM’s Director of Marketing and another designer to concept and create a digital ad campaign with ads running on Google, Instagram, and Twitter. In addition to the visuals, I wrote the headlines for the ads. Focusing on attracting transfer students to FIDM, we ran three separate ads and landing pages to gauge performance.

I collaborate with FIDM’s Education & Marketing Departments on the college catalog. Working in InDesign, I update all the catalog information annually , refresh the design, select photography, and design a new catalog cover.


FIDM’s 2 Days of Fashion

This event is open to high school students who are curious about becoming students at FIDM. It offers students a 2-day immersive FIDM experience through hands-on workshops, student mixers, FIDM tours, and more. An extremely popular program, we have about 1000 attendees including parents. I designed the campaign including the branding, printed collateral, social media, and digital elements.


FIDM Bus Ad Campaign

Creative strategy and execution of an ad campaign that appears throughout Los Angeles on Metro buses. I created the concept including writing the headlines. Through my research of Gen Z college-aged students, I discovered that flexibility and being career-ready is top of mind for this demographic. Those values melded perfectly with the FIDM experience.

FIDM Email Journey

Email journey highlighting interviews with FIDM Grads. Each email in the series focuses on a different discipline represented by FIDM’s majors. The prospect would receive the emails based on his/her specific interests to showcase FIDM success stories in real-life careers.



FIDM Career Focus Email Campaign

This email campaign is targeted to students based on their career interests. Prospective students learn about real life careers, FIDM study tours, and industry collaborations. I presented a creative brief and executed the concept.


FIDM College Fair Set Up

I was tasked with the rebranding of the FIDM college fair set up with the goal of creating a fresh look and feel that would capture the creative spirit of FIDM. Inspired by the “super bloom” of the native California poppy, I created several stylized illustrations of poppies and began to experiment with color and layout for the 30” x 80” banner and table runner. I arrived at blue and orange color combination to capture the essence of the California sea, sky and prolific poppy.
